The Private School Las Vegas Parents Have Trusted for Over 25 Years
Picking the right school for your child is one of the biggest decisions you will make as a parent. You want small classes where teachers actually know your child. You want a real curriculum, not just a theme of the week. You want a school that feels like a community, not a processing center.
That is what Candil Hall Academy has been for Las Vegas families for over 25 years.
We serve children from 18 months through 5th grade at our campus on N. Rainbow Blvd. in Northwest Las Vegas. Our teachers hold degrees in early childhood and elementary education and use structured, proven curricula at every level. Every student also attends weekly classes in art, music, and Spanish, because we believe enrichment is not a reward for finishing academics. It is part of the education itself.
If your child is between 18 months and 11 years old, there is a program here designed specifically for their stage of development. Tours run Monday through Friday. Most families who visit enroll within the same week.

Over 25 years, thousands of Las Vegas families have walked through our doors for the first time not sure what to expect. Here is what some of them found.
LOVED this place! My daughter went here for 3 years and we had nothing but an awesome experience here! For starters they celebrate holidays, which some places don’t. They have a Thanksgiving show, Christmas show, end of year party/celebration, and other fun stuff for kids and parents. My daughter is going into 4th grade now, and she still remembers this place and her teachers. Pretty incredible since she was here from ages 2-5. Very friendly, family oriented staff, that takes the time to get to know you and your kid(s). I think the bad reviews for this place are from “Karen’s” that won’t be happy anywhere. Great place overall! My daughter (Tonantzin) misses this place!
My son has been coming here since October 2017. The curriculum is great, the teachers are very hands on, and the owner of the business cares! Anyone who wants to put trust in someone to care for their children, this is it! My son is 3 now and they worked with him through all his triumphs from mommy leaving him behind to go to work and were also very helpful on Potty training!
I will definitely recommend Candil Hall to all my friends and family!
Picking a preschool for your child is such a big and tough decision. I was impressed with Candil Hall from my first tour. Their pricing is competitive and the schedule is flexible–you can pick any days and 1-5 days a week. My son has loved going every day and loves each of the teachers. Call and schedule a tour, you won’t be disappointed!

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What does tuition cost at Candil Hall Academy?
Tuition is based on your child's program and how many days per week they attend. Call us at 702.656.3370 or fill out the form in the Contact us page. We will give you the exact numbers for your child's age and schedule. Most families are pleasantly surprised by how competitive our rates are.
2. How does Candil Hall differ from Las Vegas public schools?
Class size is the biggest difference. Clark County classrooms average 21 to 24 students depending on grade. Ours are intentionally small so teachers can focus on each child individually. We also choose our own curriculum and offer flexible enrollment from 2 to 5 days per week, giving families options that fit their lives.
3. What curriculum does Candil Hall use?
Named, structured programs in every core subject. Reading through Saxon Phonics and Zoo-Phonics, mathematics through Saxon Math, writing through D'Nealian, grammar through Shurley English, and science through Mystery Science from kindergarten onward. Each program page has the full breakdown for that age group.
4. How small are the classes?
Small enough that teachers know each child's strengths, pace, and learning style within the first few weeks. That kind of individual attention is what parents notice most when they make the switch to Candil Hall. Ask us for the specific number for your child's program when you come in for a tour.
5. Can we start with fewer than 5 days a week?
Absolutely. Many families start with 3 days and add more as their child settles in. You can enroll for 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week across all programs. Campus runs 6:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.
6. Can my child transfer mid-year from a public school?
Yes, and it is a smooth process. We accept transfers throughout the year across all programs. Our teachers are experienced at welcoming new students and helping them feel at home quickly. Call us and we will walk you through what it looks like for your child's grade.
7. How do I schedule a tour?
Call (702) 656-3370 or book online. Tours run Monday through Friday and take about 30 to 45 minutes. Bring your child along if you can. Most kids walk in curious and leave excited to come back.
